Your help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Second, if you keep guessing at your CPU settings and hard re-booting while in the bios you WILL corrupt your bios and you WILL have to RMA it. Does it "remember" any settings at all after changing them (like power management options and the like)?
It sounds like your FSB and/or memory stays stuck at 100 MHz, which would explain the 1.1 GHz.
At the very beginning when booting I wasn't even able to get to the bios screen; then the shop changed one of the memories and I was able to boot correctly and to install the OS.
