He also enjoyed playing baseball with the Granite City Parks and Recreation.He loved his days of fishing, loved the outdoors, always very adventurous and enjoyed camping.He is preceded in death by his father, Roy Rayburn.
He also enjoyed being a member of the “Slappers Club” and Masonic Lodge #877.
Cheryl was a bookkeeper for Joshco Pallet Company and had worked for the Better Business Bureau.
She was a member of Gateway Family Church in Glen Carbon and a homemaker and mom who was dedicated to her family and will be remembered for the love and all the special times they shared together.
Ronnie loved life, he loved to laugh, but most of all he loved his family.
He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Cheryl is survived by and will be missed by her husband; Lloyd “Junior” Shrum, whom she married on May 11, 1973; her son, Josh (Jamie) Shrum of Troy, Illinois; her mom, Carol (Phillips) Hopper; grandchildren, Madison Shrum of Troy, Illinois, Colin Shrum of Troy, Illinois; sister, Pastor Sandy (Hap) Schoeber of Granite City, Illinois.
